Spinner Math

1.       Assume that there is a spinner with the numbers 1 to 4 on it. Every time you spin one of the numbers is pointed at. Assuming that the 4 sections are equal in size, how many 1's would you expect mathematically if you spin 20 times? Explain the mathmatics you used to determine your answer.

2. If you spin the spinner approximately what percentage of the time would you get a 2? Explain how you got your answer.

3. If you spin the spinner 100 times about how many 1's , 2's or 3's would you get? Explain how you got your answer. Approximately what percentage of the time would you get a 1, 2 or a 3?
