Wendy Mison, algebra and pre-algebra teacher at John Winthrop School, was selected as a State Finalist for this years's Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). As a state finalist she is eligible for the Presidential Award. If she is chosen for this award, she will be officially invited to Washington, D.C., by the White House and be honored during a week of recognition events.
